This project involves developing a website for the Ukrainian Institute, aimed at promoting Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy internationally. The website will address the needs of various users, including cultural professionals, Ukrainian embassies staff, and artists, by offering clear, intuitive access to information, resources, and programs.
The Institute has many different areas and programs, and new projects pop up every year. This variety can seem complicated to people outside the Institute, especially since it’s a fairly new organization and not very well-known. Therefore, the website aimed to make navigation easy and clearly explain what we do.
There was no budget.
I conducted 10 interviews with users and stakeholders, which allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of their needs and expectations.
This process helped align the website’s structure and functionality with real user demands, simplify navigation, and provide easy access to necessary resources.
I tested low-fidelity prototypes to verify whether our audience clearly understands the organization’s purpose and if the users can easily meet their needs through the platform.
Due to cuts in the state budget for the organization’s activities, the ideas that were developed and tested were not fully executed. Some features were postponed, and only those that could be implemented using No-Coding Development were realized.
